APAC Adoptive Family Groups and Lecture Series
Mobile Adoptive Parent Group - Meetings are held on the 3rd
Friday of each month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Regency Church of Christ,
located at 501 South University Blvd. in Mobile. Childcare is provided. The group is open to all adoptive parents, as
well as foster parents with plans for adoption, and is led by a licensed
therapist. It offers social, educational and fun activities, along
with occasional trainings for CEUs. An adult leader is available to
provide activities for the teen and children's groups. Please

Baldwin County Adoptive Parent Group - Meetings
are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the
Eastern Shore Church of Christ, located at 1209 Daphne Avenue in Daphne.
Childcare is provided. The group is open to all adoptive parents, as
well as foster parents with plans for adoption, and is led by a licensed
therapist. It offers social, educational and fun activities, along
with occasional trainings for CEUs. An adult leader is available to
provide activities for the teen and children's groups. Please

Circle of Love - a support group for parents of children adopted
internationally or domestically. This group meets from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on
the 1st Tuesday of each month at First Baptist Church North Mobile,
located at 1251 Industrial Parkway in Saraland. Childcare is

Parents for Teens - 7p.m. first and third Mondays: First

chemically-dependent adolescents.
P-Flag - Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays

Wheelers - A support group to boost image and friendship
among people with disabilities and raise public awareness about the rights

Bay Area Grief Coalition - Grief support for children and

Compassionate Friends - Support groups for bereaved
parents, siblings and grandparents; for parents who lost a baby before or
after birth; and a group for adolescents who have lost loved ones; 7p.m.

Formerly Marrieds - meets at 7 p.m. on Thursdays. This
group is for singles by way of death or divorce. It offers fun,

AARP Chapter 56-meets on the first Thursday of the month
at 10 a.m. Meeting is held at Mary Abbie Berg Senior Center, 1717 Dauphin

Parents Without Partners - Meetings are Thursdays and
Saturdays at 7 p.m. For reservations and locations call 251-473-2797.
Single Purpose-Meets Sundays at 9:15 a.m. for coffee, 9:45
for Sunday School, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. for worship. Special social
activities and quarterly seminar rallies. Also have weekly divorce care

AARP - Azalea chapter of the American Association of
Retired Persons meets at 6:30 p.m. on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
