APAC Adoptive Family Support Group Meetings

DeKalb County Adoptive Parent Group - Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of every month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Fellowship Christian Center, which is located at 114 DeKalb Drive, Rainsville, AL 35986. Jefferson County Adoptive Parent Group - Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of every month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Huffman United Methodist Church, which is located at 711 Gene Reed Road, Birmingham, AL 35235. Autism Society of Alabama

Groups are hosted in the Cullman, Decatur/Athens, Huntsville, and Muscle Shoals area.

Divorce Support Groups

Groups are available in the Cherokee, Cullman, Jackson, Lauderdale, Madison, Marion, and Marshall Counties.

Alabama Family Rights Association’s Madison County Chapter

A support group in Huntsville for parents going through divorce and custody problems.

Crisis Services of North Alabama

Groups for women that are victims of abuse, incest and rape.

Homicide Survivors Assistance Center

The center supports families and friends who have lost their loved ones to murder and vehicular homicide. These groups are hosted by the Family Service Center in Huntsville and are available throughout the North Alabama area.

Anger Management Classes for Adults and Youth & Sandcastles-Helping Children of Divorce Rebuild Group

These groups are available through the Family Service Center in Huntsville.

Home Educator’s Support Groups

These groups are available in Cullman and Northwest Alabama.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill

Support groups are hosted in Cullman, Huntsville, Decatur, Scottsboro, The Shoals, Franklin and Winston Counties.
