Adoptive Family Adjustment/Crisis Counseling

Adoptive families and families awaiting adoption finalization are eligible for this service with priority given to DHR families.  Services include intake, assessment, and short-term counseling for eligible families who have significant adjustment difficulties and/or are at risk for adoption disruption.  This service is now based in the Birmingham area.  For more information contact Jem Finley at 205-943-5353, or call the toll-free number 1-866-803-2722.
