Finally …. you have adopted the child you have always wanted! Perhaps you adopted through an agency, maybe circumstances led to your adoption of a family member's child, or you adopted your foster child. Whatever your circumstances, Alabama Post Adoption Connections (APAC) is here to assist you. Because adoptive families often face unique challenges, the Department of Human Resources and Children’s Aid Society offer support to families through APAC after the adoption process. APAC’s experienced staff provides educational resources and support to any family in the State of Alabama who has an adopted a child under 19 or to therapists serving these families.
